Odsonne Edouard shook off another mixed performance to win the game for Celtic against Dundee.

Edouard is becoming a master of scoring late goals for Celtic.

His strike followed recent late winners he has netted in 2019 against Hearts and Motherwell.

On one hand his late goals are masking Edouard’s at times disappointing performances.

On the opposite side of the equation, Edouard’s goals speak for themselves.

The Frenchman has now netted 18 goals this season for Celtic.

Most importantly he is showing a willingness to fight through when he and his team are struggling.

Edouard has ‘character’, a trait former Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers loved.

Rodgers’ regular use of the phrase made it a bit of a buzzword.

Edouard is showing he has it in spades.

It’s a rare trait which separates footballers at the top level. Celtic must keep the belief in Edouard, as he clearly believes in himself.
