Celtic are set to wrap up the signing of Sligo Rovers striker Johnny Kenny in what appears to be an absolute bargain deal.
The Irish Independent report that Kenny is expected to sign for Celtic within a matter of days.
Celtic are paying just €150,000 (£125,000) for Kenny, pipping Hibernian to his signature in the process.
The Scottish Sun claim that Kenny was a VIP at Hibernian for their match against Dundee in December as they looked to finalise a move.
Unfortunately for Hibs, Celtic have now swooped in and will win the race to bring Kenny to Scotland.
After securing Reo Hatate, Yosuke Ideguchi and Daizen Maeda, Celtic are wasting no time in this transfer window.
Kenny looks set to become signing number four this month, and he is more for the future than the Japanese trio.

Kenny is just 18 but already has 34 senior games under his belt with Sligo Rovers, bagging 12 goals in the process.
Backed for a big future, Kenny will now commit to playing for Celtic in their latest raid on Irish football.
Defender Liam Scales joined from Shamrock Rovers over the summer and Celtic are now ready to scoop up another Irish talent in Kenny.
