Celtic signed Filip Benkovic earlier this summer.

Celtic clinched a late move for Filip Benkovic on deadline day, signing the defender on loan from Leicester City.
Benkovic is a centre-back who Leicester paid £13 million to join from Dinamo Zagreb.
That was a big fee in itself, but at one stage it appeared Benkovic could be sold for nearly double the price.
The Express reported in early July that Chelsea were weighing up a £25 million move for Benkovic.
Managerial changes at Chelsea led to their interest subsiding, and with it so did the high price Zagreb were able to demand.

The fee Leicester paid was still a substantial one for a 21-year-old.
It appears Celtic have landed a bargain by getting Benkovic on loan for a year.
Their prospects of keeping him beyond that are slim but for one season Celtic are lucky to have a player who they would have stood no chance of landing without Leicester’s generosity.
Celtic’s defensive problems have been well documented especially their failure to sign a defender over the course of the summer.
Benkovic might just turn out to be worth waiting for.
