Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers reportedly wants to bring in the West Bromwich Albion defender this summer.

If Celtic could bring in Craig Dawson from West Bromwich Albion then he would be a serious upgrade on Dedryck Boyata for next season.
West Brom have given themselves some chance of surviving in the Premier League after a remarkable run of form, but they still look likely to be relegated.

The defender could be made available for transfer for the Baggies, and he would be a fine addition to Celtic’s squad.
Dawson is capable of playing at right-back or in the centre of Celtic’s defence, and he would be a significant improvement on their current options in either position.
Dawson would make a great replacement for Boyata, in particular – as he could be a much better fit in Brendan Rodgers’ side.

Boyata has his qualities, but Dawson is much more comfortable in possession and that gives him a major advantage over the current Celtic man.
And if Dawson does arrive at Parkhead this summer, his partnership with Kristoffer Ajer next term could have the potential to be brilliant.
