According to the Telegraph, Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Kortney Hause could be available for around £4 million, and Celtic should take note at that price.

Hause has struggled for game time at Wolves this season, but he has proven previously that he is a very talented player, and he could be just what Celtic need.

Brendan Rodgers’ side are short of options at the back currently, and a new centre-back is clearly needed.

Celtic cannot make long-term plans with Dedryck Boyata and Filip Benkovic, as their futures are so uncertain.

And that should make Hause a potentially appealing prospect for them.

Celtic are in a position where they cannot buy the finished article from Premier League sides, so they have to invest in potential.

Hause certainly has that, and he could be a stand out player in Scotland.

The centre-back is blessed with power and a great understanding of the game, and with Wolves looking to sell, Celtic should add the 23-year-old to their wishlist.
