According to The Sun, Celtic winger Scott Sinclair wants to leave in the summer transfer window and return to the Premier League.

Sinclair joined Celtic from Aston Villa in the summer of 2016 for a transfer fee reported by The Scottish Sun to be worth £3.5 million and has been a success at Celtic Park.

James Mclean of West Bromwich Albion has a shot on goal during the Premier League match between Burnley and West Bromwich Albion at Turf Moor on May 6, 2017 in Burnley, England.

Given that the former Chelsea and Manchester City winger is 29 years of age, it would not come as a surprise if he leaves the Hoops for a club in the Premier League in the summer transfer window.

Celtic, though, need not worry too much about finding a replacement, as the Glasgow giants have one in West Bromwich Albion winger James McClean.

The 28-year-old winger could be playing in the Championship in England next season, as West Brom are likely to get relegated from the Premier League.

The Republic of Ireland international is a very good player and is a Celtic fan, and told the club’s official website in December 2017 that he would love to play for the club one day, saying: “It’s always been a dream of mine.”

If Celtic lose Sinclair in the summer transfer window, then they should go all out for McClean, who is valued at €3.8 million (£3.33m) by CIES Football Observatory.
