Everton midfielder Kieran Dowell is reportedly keen to seal a loan move in January, so should Celtic make a bid?

Dowell appears to have been on the cusp of the first-team since Silva arrived and has been included in his matchday squad on three occasions in the Premier League. Nevertheless, he is yet to play a single minute for the Toffees in the top flight this term.
Celtic meanwhile, went into the international break off the back of a stunning 6-0 win over St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park, with James Forrest scoring four for Brendan Rodgers’ men.
But the win must not deflect the attention from the Hoops’ struggles to unlock defences and blow teams away in the manner that they made an art form during Rodgers’ first two years at Parkhead.

Three teams in the Scottish Premiership have scored more goals than the Bhoys so far this term. And when you factor in that the Hoops scored six last time out, that stat could have easily looked even worse for the champions.
A loan move for Dowell could prove to be a fantastic piece of business for Celtic if they are able to get the youngster to show the kind of form that he displayed during the opening weeks of his time with Nottingham Forest last season.
The attacking midfielder scored nine and provided four assists at the City Ground. He could be a fantastic option to play alongside Forrest and Tom Rogic behind the striker, and Everton should have few qualms about sending him to Parkhead unless Silva has plans to use him more often in the coming months.
