Everton’s Ademola Lookman could be allowed to leave on loan before the end of the January transfer window.

Everton speed machine Ademola Lookman could reportedly leave the Toffees in the next few days as he struggles to get a look in at Goodison Park – and Celtic should reignite 2016 interest to land the attacker.
The Liverpool Echo claim Everton are “mulling” over the decision to sanction a loan move for the 20-year-old, who has been afforded just 152 minutes of Premier League football this season.
Signed by Ronald Koeman a year ago, the England Under-20 World Cup winner has been left out of Everton’s 18-man squad in four of the Merseyside outfit’s last six Premier League matches.

Now, with the signing of Theo Walcott from Arsenal and Yannick Bolasie’s return to fitness, Lookman has plummeted down the pecking order beneath the duo as well as Nikola Vlasic and Gylfi Sigurdsson.
The Independent claimed back in December 2016 that Scottish champions Celtic were interested in landing Lookman ahead of Everton, along with Arsenal, Liverpool and Crystal Palace.
Now, Brendan Rodgers’ side should reignite their interest in the Everton speedster as they are lacking in width due to a number of injuries with a Europa League campaign on the horizon.

Manchester City loanee Patrick Roberts returned to training in Dubai but is remains to be seen how long he will be sidelined for, as he continues to suffer with a hamstring injury, while Jonny Hayes has broken his leg.
That leaves Celtic lacking in options out wide, with only James Forrest and Scott Sinclair considered the only first-team choices available to Rodgers. Mikey Johnston has potential, but is certainly not ready for the test of Zenit.
Lookman has already shown his Europa League pedigree this season with two goals against Apollon Limassol, and would be an excellent signing as the Hoops look to secure another treble and go on a European run.
