Celtic should look at former German international.

Several months into his Celtic experience, it is fair to say Marvin Compper isn’t cutting it at Celtic.
The defender has been a woeful signing, with fitness issues preventing him from even getting on the pitch.
It is not too late for Celtic to look at upgrading, despite the transfer window being closed. Top of their list should be Serdar Tasci.
Tasci is a former German international, who at 31 is a free agent after recently spending four seasons in Russia with Spartak Moscow.
Formerly of Stuttgart, Tasci also spent time at Bayern Munich on loan and is a three time league winner in Russia and Germany with three different clubs.

Unlike Compper, Tasci has a relatively clean injury record, playing 360 club games in his career so far.
Celtic should consider terminating Compper’s contract and putting his wages toward Tasci instead.
Just three years ago the defender claimed to be attracting interest from Barcelona, SkySports reported.
His status as a free agent is unlikely to last for long now the transfer window is closed.
While he will not be eligible for the Europa League, Tasci would add depth to Celtic’s squad and potentially make the impact where Compper has failed to.
