Khazri has been told he can leave Sunderland, so should Celtic pounce?

Sunderland attacker Wahib Khazri will be reportedly allowed to leave the Stadium of Light for just £5million this summer after an excellent campaign on loan with French side Rennes, so should Celtic consider a move?
The 27-year-old was converted into a striker for much of the 2017-18 season at Rennes, though he also featured from both flanks and indeed in the number 10 role.
He scored 11 goals in 34 league and cup outings, nine of which came in 24 Ligue 1 appearances. The Northern Echo claim the Tunisia international, who remains a Sunderland player, can leave the club.

Khazri wanted to leave Sunderland on a free, after the Black Cats failed to mirror his successes in France with a second successive relegation to the third tier of English football.
However, the report state that Sunderland want a fee for Khazri, and although they are happy for him to leave Wearside, they must rake in a figure believed to be £5million.
That should put the likes of Celtic on alert, who will be keen to add firepower out wide to their squad this summer after losing loaness Patrick Roberts and Charly Musonda, who returned to their parent clubs Man City and Chelsea.

Celtic will be able to afford a figure of £5million with ease after two successive group stage campaigns in the Champions League, as well as featuring in the Europa League knockout stage in February.
Known for his ability with both feet, versatility and quality from dead-ball areas, Khazri would be a decent signing for some Premier League teams. Luring him to Celtic then, would be a major coup for Brendan Rodgers.
