Celtic should consider Iceland international Birkir Bjarnason.

Celtic have been linked with a move in recent days for winger Yannick Bolasie, first reported by Goal.
They might be better off looking towards the free agent market instead of the Everton ace, who would command costly wages.
A top option if Celtic are looking at adding another winger is Birkir Bjarnason.
Bjarnason is a free agent after his contract at Aston Villa expired in June.
He had two mixed seasons at the club after joining from Basel in 2017, scoring five goals.

Bjarnason caught the eye at Euro 2016 for Iceland and also featured at last summer’s World Cup.
He can play on both flanks, at 31 still has more to offer.
He is capable of scoring regularly, netting 24 goals combined for Pescara and Basel in the 2014/15 and 2015/16 seasons.
Celtic could use Bjarnason’s experience when it comes to their European campaign, and the cold Scottish winter wouldn’t worry the Icelander one bit.
The last player they signed after leaving Aston Villa was Scott Sinclair. He hasn’t done badly at Celtic…
