Celtic should rival Leeds United for Liverpool keeper Adam Bogdan after Craig Gordon’s injury.

According to The Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds United are interested in signing goalkeeper Adam Bogdan – but should Celtic join the Championship club in the race to get him?
It’s no secret that Leeds do not exactly have stellar goalkeeping options, with Felix Wiedwald and Andy Lonergan struggling for consistency this season following their summer moves to Elland Road.
And the Liverpool man is probably an upgrade on Lonergan, though it remains to be seen if he could relieve Wiedwald of his number one shirt in West Yorkshire.

But events on Saturday mean that Celtic really need a goalkeeper this month and perhaps the Hungary international would consider a move to Parkhead.
Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers confirmed yesterday that Craig Gordon suffered a serious knee injury in the 1-0 win over Hibernian and perhaps Bogdan, given the time in which he has to find a replacement and history between the pair, could be a decent option for Rodgers.

The Northern Irishman brought the former Bolton Wanderers stopper to Liverpool in 2015, but the 30-year-old – now rated at around £1 million according to Transfermarkt – only managed two senior appearances under Rodgers before his sacking in October of that year.
Celtic only have four days to sign cover for Gordon, if the post-match medical examinations point to a lengthy absence, and rivalling Leeds for Bogdan makes sense under the circumstances.
