Former Celtic goalkeeper Artur Boruc has been celebrating his 38th birthday today.

Celtic have today taken to Twitter to send a birthday message to Bournemouth goalkeeper Artur Boruc – which has only sparked calls from fans for him to re-join the Bhoys.
Boruc turned 38 today, and whilst he left Celtic for Fiorentina almost eight years ago, the Bhoys haven’t forgotten his contribution to the club over the years.

The former Poland international joined Celtic from Legia Warsaw back in 2005, and went on to make more than 200 appearances for Celtic having emerged as their first-choice goalkeeper.
Boruc won three league titles, two Scottish League Cups and two Scottish Cups during his time with Celtic, becoming a fan favourite at Celtic Park before spells with Fiorentina, Southampton and now Bournemouth.

Celtic sent a birthday message to Boruc today, and fans unsurprisingly jumped on the tweet to call for Boruc to make his return to Celtic Park.
Celtic were rocked in January when goalkeeper Craig Gordon suffered an injury, and with Dorus de Vries the only other goalkeeper at Brendan Rodgers’ disposal, Scott Bain was brought in from Dundee until the end of the season.
However, fans believed that Boruc – who hasn’t made a single Premier League appearance this season – would have been ideal, and urged Celtic to bring the veteran back to Celtic Park.
