Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic reportedly want to sign Swansea City defender Connor Roberts.

It has been reported that Celtic manager Rodgers likes the right-back and sent chief scout Mick Doherty to watch the 23-year-old in action last week.
The right-back is out of contract at Swansea at the end of the season and is free to sign a pre-contract agreement with the Hoops in the January transfer window.
Promising defender
Roberts is a very talented and promising young right-back who has already played seven times for the Wales national football team.
The 23-year-old has progressed well over the past few years, having been out on loan at Yeovil Town, Bristol Rovers and Middlesbrough.

The Wales international has played in all of Swansea’s 17 Championship matches so far this season, scoring two goals in the process, according to WhoScored.
Celtic would be signing a very promising young right-back who will grow and develop in the coming years if they are able to secure the services of Roberts.
