Celtic reportedly want Motherwell’s David Turnbull.

Celtic will be attacking the transfer window with urgency this summer, as they need a whole host of signings to bolster Neil Lennon’s squad.
A major rebuilding job faces Lennon, and a number of midfielders have been linked with the club as Lennon looks to boost his options, especially with question marks about Olivier Ntcham’s future.
The latest link is to Motherwell’s David Turnbull, with the Daily Record reporting that Celtic have already asked about signing him, but will have to pay at least £3million.
Turnbull, 19, has come up through the Motherwell ranks and now emerged as one of Scottish football’s top young talents, racking up 16 goals and seven assists in all competitions.
Celtic are just one of a host of clubs interested in signing Turnbull, and they cannot afford to mess around as they did with another to Scottish midfielder last summer, John McGinn.
Brendan Rodgers wanted McGinn at Parkhead, but failed with three bids for the former Hibernian ace, with the final one totalling around £2million (Sky Sports) before Aston Villa swooped in to sign him.

Some Celtic fans weren’t sold on McGinn, but he’s proven his doubters wrong. He has been the heartbeat of the Aston Villa midfield, recording nine goals and 12 assists whilst helping Villa win promotion to the Premier League.
Missing out on McGinn is a big regret at Parkhead, and they’re now faced with a similar situation. They want a talented young Scottish midfielder, they know how much they need to pay to get him. Celtic cannot wait around and send low-ball offers, or else they’ll risk missing out again.
