Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic have been linked with Jack Hendry of Dundee in the January transfer window.

It has been reported that Celtic scout Tosh McKinlay watched Hendry in action for Dundee against Partick Thistle on Saturday afternoon.
The 22-year-old defender played well, as Neil McCann’s side won the Scottish Premiership game 3-0 at at Dens Park.

Celtic, though, are not the only club who are (reportedly) interested in signing Hendry from Dundee in the January transfer window.
A report in The Daily Mail earlier this month claimed that Premier League trio Newcastle United, Southampton and Crystal Palace all are interested in the 22-year-old former Partick Thistle and Wigan Athletic prospect.

Hendry is a very talented and young defender who has shown that he can be a success in the Scottish Premiership.
Celtic do need to reinforce their defence, and it would not be a bad idea to make a move for the Dundee youngster in the January transfer window.
