Hart will leave Burnley at the end of the month when his current contract with the Premier League club runs out, and Scottish Premiership giants Celtic reportedly want to secure the services of the former Manchester City goalkeeper on a free transfer.
The report has claimed that the Hoops have already made contact with the England international goalkeeper’s camp and are in talks.
Although Neil Lennon has not given up on signing Fraser Forster from Southampton this summer, he is not willing to hang about for long, according to the report.
Good signing for Celtic?
Hart has not been at his best for a while now and has not played a single game in the Premier League this season.
However, the 33-year-old is a very good goalkeeper who would be a good signing for Celtic, especially as he would come on a free.
Described by City manager Pep Guardiola as “incredible” in October 2018, according to ESPN, Hart’s experience and winning mentality would make the Hoops a better team.
