Dundee-owned Scott Bain is reportedly wanted by Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic, Hibernian and Heart of Midlothian on a permanent contract in the summer of 2018.

It has been reported that Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers is convinced that Bain is worth keeping beyond the summer following his performance against Rangers at Ibrox in the Old Firm derby at the weekend.

It was the 26-year-old goalkeeper’s debut for the Hoops, having joined the Glasgow giants on loan from Scottish Premiership rivals Dundee in the January transfer window.
According to The Scottish Sun, Celtic want to secure the services of Bain on a permanent contract on a free transfer in the summer of 2018.
The Scottish Sun has claimed that Hibernian and Heart of Midlothian are also interested in signing Bain in the summer of 2018.

Advantage Celtic
Despite (reported) interest from Hibs and Hearts, Celtic may have the advantage in the race for Bain.
After all, the Hoops are a much bigger club than Hibernian or Hearts, and Brendan Rodgers is the most high-profile manager working in Scotland at the moment.
If Bain is able to secure his place in the Celtic starting lineup between now and the end of the season, then the 26-year-old could well decide that his future lies at Celtic Park.
