Glasgow Rangers host Neil Lennon’s Celtic at Ibrox on Sunday in the last Old Firm game of the 2018-19 Scottish Premiership season.
Celtic legend Chris Sutton has urged Neil Lennon’s side to be careful of one Rangers player when they face their Glasgow rivals at Ibrox on Sunday.
The last Old Firm derby of the 2018-19 Scottish Premiership season sees the Hoops go into the game having already wrapped up the title, while the Light Blues are set to finish second in the table.
Nonetheless, the rivalry between the two sides means that even though the game is technically a dead rubber, it’s never not going to be hotly contested, and Celtic will want to avoid a second Ibrox defeat of the season.
Ahead of the game, Sutton earmarked veteran midfielder Steven Davis as one to watch, having taken a while to get back to full match fitness after joining initially on loan from Southampton in the January transfer window.
“Steven Davis seems to have his fitness levels up and he’s a good footballer so Celtic will have to be watchful,” he wrote in the Daily Record.
The 34-year-old Northern Ireland international began his second spell at Rangers at the start of the year and has made 17 appearances for them in all competitions, according to Transfermarkt.
Davis enjoyed a trophy-laden spell first time round at Rangers, having won three Scottish league titles, two Scottish Cups, three League Cups and reached the UEFA Cup final during his first stint at Ibrox.
