Celtic and Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers have been linked with the bulldozing striker.

Uche Ikpeazu was linked with a shock move to Celtic and Rangers last month.

According to The Scottish Sun, both Celtic and Rangers could be interested in signing the burly striker.

And if recent comments are anything to go by, he might favour Parkhead over Ibrox.

Ikpeazu, who plays for Hearts, was on the losing side on Saturday as the Hoops beat Craig Levein’s side in the Scottish Cup final, clinching a third successive domestic treble.

And the 24-year-old has opened up on his disappointment of losing to Neil Lennon’s side, admitting that it’s his ‘dream’ to win something in his career.

He told The Scottish Sun: “I hate losing. It hurts and I’m going to use it as my motivation to get back into the final and to win it. My dream is to win something in my career and that game was a great opportunity.”

If his dream is to win something, joining Celtic would be a safer bet than Rangers.

Yes, Steven Gerrard’s side might come stronger next season, but they were nowhere near a trophy last term and the Hoops – going for a quadruple treble – will be expected to dominate once again.

Chief executive Peter Lawwell will have seen the Gers’ improvement under Gerrard and that should frighten him into scaring some real money this summer.
