The Celtic youngster made an instant impact for his new club at the weekend.
Aitchison scored on his debut after completing a season-long loan move on deadline day.
Drifting in from the left flank, the 19-year-old jinked past a defender both firing home.
It was the only goal of the game and moves Rovers closer to their goal of winning promotion from the four-tier this season.
Aitchison is delighted to have made the move and been able to show immediately he has what it takes to be a success at the club.
As quoted by The Scottish Sun, the striker said: “It’s been really good so far – I’m still getting used to the vegan food, right enough!
“The boys have been welcoming and I’ve enjoyed it.
“It felt amazing to come on, score and help the boys on Saturday.
“We dug in, got the points and I’m just delighted that we’ve started to climb the table.”
Can Aitchison make it at Celtic?
It seems like an eternity ago that the player became Celtic’s youngest ever goalscorer on the last day of Ronny Deila’s reign in 2016.
It’s fair to say a lot has happened at the club since.
Aitchison’s progress has been bubbling under the surface during that time.
Uneventful loans out to the Scottish lower leagues didn’t seem to aid his development.
Brendan Rodgers didn’t really include him in first-team plans either, save for a brief spell in early 2017 when he made two substitute appearances.
The Forest Green opportunity is a big one though. If he can show he has the ability to consistently score in League Two then he may well find himself getting chances under Neil Lennon.
Still just 19, there’s plenty of time for him to make an impact.
