Several of Celtic’s squad have probably been inspiring others this season, but Anthony Ralston has picked one teammate out in particular.

Anthony Ralston has suggested that all of Celtic’s youngsters can be inspired by the impact that Kieran Tierney is continuing to make in the first-team at Parkhead, The Scottish Sun reports.
Tierney has been a revelation since emerging out of the academy and into the first-team over the last couple of years, and is now arguably one of the first names on Brendan Rodgers’ teamsheet despite the fact that someone as good as Emilio Izaguirre is rivalling him for a spot in the side.
And fellow full-back Ralston – who made his debut for the Bhoys in 2016 – has suggested that the 19-year-old’s progress should provide every youngster at the club with the motivation to try and impress Rodgers.
“Kieran’s a great example for me and all the young boys at Celtic,” he said, as reported by The Scottish Sun.
“We all look up to him and know there are chances at Celtic because he’s been in our position before. He’s gone from that to doing all he has.
“He’s a great example of what can happen and is the one that everyone looks to for inspiration.”

Not only has Tierney quickly cemented his position as one of the best defenders in the Celtic squad and in the Scottish Premiership as a whole, but he has also proven this season that he has the potential become a Hoops legend.
He has collected experience in the Champions League this season and has also got a handful of Scotland caps under his belt, with his latest appearance for his country proving just how talented a player he could be.
Despite playing at left-back throughout his entire Celtic career, Tierney was deployed on the right-hand side of the back four in Scotland’s clash with Slovenia at Hampden Park, and looked almost as comfortable.
