Celtic face Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership, looking to put some daylight between the two teams at the top of the table.

Celtic will be hoping to capitalise on the momentum they gained from their Scottish League Cup semi-final when they face Aberdeen in a huge clash at the top of the Scottish Premiership on Wednesday.
The Hoops booked their ticket to the final after an eventful 4-2 win over Hibernian at Hampden Park, and in the process, extended their unbeaten domestic run to a staggering 60 games.

Aberdeen were the penultimate team to beat the Hoops in 90 minutes, with a 2-1 win coming back in February 2016. Of course, Celtic are a considerably better team now, but they face a Dons side that are keeping up with them in the top flight this season.
Both sides have begun the season with seven wins and just two draws coming from their opening nine games to leave the pair six points clear of their closest rivals, and Brendan Rodgers will be hoping that they can now create some daylight between themselves and Wednesday’s opponents.

Given the semi-final win, it would not be a major surprise if Rodgers limited the number of changes that he makes for the clash at Pittodrie.
The two changes we are expecting come in the midfield. Tom Rogic continues to impress, so he may perhaps come in for Callum McGregor, who, while he has been brilliant this season, could perhaps do with a rest after not proving particularly influential at Hampden Park.
Meanwhile, Stuart Armstrong may also be rested, with Olvier Ntcham coming back into the side after being an unused substitute at the weekend.
