Celtic have enjoyed a fine few days having beaten Old Firm rivals Rangers 4-0 on Sunday – and the club’s social media staff have been twisting the knife today.

The Bhoys were supposed to be worried about Rangers closing the gap to them ahead of Sunday’s latest meeting between the two sides, but Brendan Rodgers’ men exerted their dominance at Hampden Park.

Tom Rogic and Callum McGregor both struck in the first half, before second half penalties from Moussa Dembele and Olivier Ntcham secured a 4-0 win for Celtic and a passage into the Scottish Cup final.

Whilst Celtic have been able to celebrate and poke fun at their rivals, Rangers have been in turmoil, with Kenny Miller and Lee Wallace both suspended by the club in the aftermath of the defeat.

The Gers veterans both clashed with interim boss Graeme Murty on Sunday, and appear to have played their final games for Rangers as a result, with Miller’s third spell with the club set to end.

Today, Celtic posted a host of photos on Twitter of Bhoys players down the years celebrating scoring against or wins over Rangers, and included one shot of Miller during his Bhoys days.

Celtic fans clearly found the tweet hilarious, as they suggested that the social media staff deserve pay rises for the tweet, praising them for ‘top trolling’ over their bitter rivals as the Bhoys continue to revel in Rangers’ pain following Sunday’s game.
