Celtic left-back Greg Taylor has told The Scottish Sun that winning against Steven Gerrard’s Rangers at Ibrox will not be easy.
Rangers and Celtic will lock horns with each other at Ibrox in the Scottish Cup this coming weekend.
Both the Gers and the Hoops won in the Scottish Premiership this past weekend, and the Old Firm derby promises to be an exciting and competitive affair.
Taylor, who can also operate as a left-winger, has admitted that winning at Ibrox is not going to be easy, as it is a tough place to go to.
The Scotland international told The Scottish Sun: “Every game’s big at Celtic, but it’s the one competition we have left to play for this season.
“For that reason, it’s paramount we do our best to win it. It’s a tough place to go, but it’s an opportunity we’re looking forward to.”
Exciting game
Both Rangers and Celtic are in good form at the moment, and the Scottish Cup tie promises to be an exciting and entertaining game of football.
The Gers have already won the Scottish Premiership title this season and will have a good campaign overall no matter what happens against Celtic.
As for the Hoops, the Scottish Cup gives them the chance to salvage something from their season.
