The Celtic loanee inspired Kilmarnock to a big win today.

Kilmarnock picked up an incredible win today – and one Celtic player played a big role.
Youssouf Mulumbu, loaned out by former Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers in January, stole the show as Steve Clarke’s side thrashed Hamilton Academical 5-0 at Rugby Park.
Mulumbu set up Killie’s opener through Greg Taylor after five minutes, before making it 3-0 himself shortly after the hour mark – his first goal since returning to his old side.
It’s been a dismal season for the 32-year-old midfielder, who left Kilmarnock to join the Hoops last summer. Prior to returning to Rugby Park, Mulumbu had struggled for football under then-Celtic manager Rodgers and made just one Premiership appearance.
But performances like this are a big reminder of his talent and here’s how some fans reacted to his display:
It’ll be interesting to see if Mulumbu has any future at Celtic. On the surface, you would think probably not, given the abundance of quality midfielders at Parkhead, but you never know.
He could return to Glasgow this summer and blow away Rodgers’s successor, be it Neil Lennon or someone else, during pre-season.
