Nadir Ciftci is on loan at Motherwell from Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic at the moment.

The Turkish forward has been on the books of the Hoops since the summer of 2015 when he joined from Dundee United for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £1.5 million.
According to Transfermarkt.co.uk, the 26-year-old’s current contract with Celtic runs until the end of the 2018-19 campaign.
Ciftci joined Motherwell on loan from Celtic in the January transfer window, and the 26-year-old forward has admitted that he is unsure of what will happen regarding his future once his loan spell at the Scottish Premiership club runs out this summer.

“I have one more year on my contract with Celtic but I don’t know if I will meet them or just turn up for the first day of pre-season,” Ciftci told The Daily Record.

No future at Celtic?
Ciftci has failed to make an impact at Celtic, and it is hard to see the forward being part of Brendan Rodgers’s side next season.
One suspects that the Glasgow giants will either sell the 26-year-old this summer or send him out on loan.
