Ryan Christie joined Aberdeen on loan from Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic in the summer of 2017.

Christie joined Aberdeen on a season-long loan deal from Scottish Premiership rivals Celtic in the summer of 2017.
The 23-year-old midfielder spent the second half of last season on loan at the Pittodrie Stadium and did well during his spell there.
The Scotland international joined Celtic from Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the summer of 2015 for a transfer fee reported by The Scotsman to be worth £600,000.
Christie, who has made only 13 appearances in all competitions for the Bhoys so far in his career, has stated that he has not thought about his future.

“To be honest I haven’t really thought about it all and that is the best way to be in terms of focusing on my football right now,” Christie told The Scotsman.
“I thought that in January when a few questions were asked, and I said then that I wanted to concentrate from now until the end of the season.
“I want to get my level of performances up as high as I can as right now as I think I can be playing better.
“I need to keep in that mindset and keep working game to game and when the summer comes we will see what happens.”

Back to Celtic?
Christie is playing well for Aberdeen at the moment and has established himself as an important player in Derek McInnes’s side.
However, it would make sense for the 23-year-old midfielder to go back to Celtic and try to impressed manager Brendan Rodgers in pre-season.
