Celtic are interested in AZ Alkmaar boss Pascal Jansen, a man who has called the atmosphere at Parkhead ‘special’.
AZ Alkmaar boss Pascal Jansen has already praised Celtic fans amid claims he could become the new Bhoys manager.
Celtic are chasing a new manager having lost Ange Postecoglou to Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday morning.
The Australian won the treble for Celtic last weekend but has now decided to try his luck in the Premier League.
Celtic will take their time to find the right man and a host of managers have already been linked with the job.
One of them is AZ Alkmaar boss Pascal Jansen, who was the former assistant of Feyenoord boss Arne Slot.
Dutchman Jansen was born in London and Celtic could now try to lure him to Parkhead this summer.
If Jansen does make the move, he will be joining an atmosphere which has already impressed him massively.

Pascal Jansen has already hailed Celtic atmosphere
Celtic fans will remember facing AZ back in 2021, mere weeks into Postecoglou’s time as Bhoys manager.
Celtic battled AZ for a spot in the Europa League having lost to Midtjylland in the Champions League qualifiers.
Postecoglou saw his team take control with a 2-0 first-leg win as Kyogo Furuhashi and a Timo Letschert own goal put the Bhoys on top.
The second leg started perfectly as Kyogo scored yet again, only for Zakaria Aboukhlal and a Carl Starfelt own goal to give AZ a chance.
Celtic managed to hang on and send AZ packing, marking Postecoglou’s first major European victory with the Bhoys.
After the first leg, Jansen told the Daily Record that he felt the atmosphere at Celtic was truly ‘special’, believing his players coped well.
“I actually thought we gave a good account of ourselves in a special atmosphere in Glasgow,” said Jansen, marvelling at the Bhoys fanbase.
Jansen may soon have the opportunity to take over Celtic and experience that atmosphere on a regular basis.
That could be hugely appealing to Jansen, who may well see Celtic as career progression after finishing fourth with AZ this season.
