Celtic have snapped up left back Boli Bolingoli-Mbombo.

Celtic new boy Boli Bolingoli-Mbombo has told Celtic TV that it was a ‘nice experience’ to play against Rangers last season.
The Bhoys have moved to land their third signing of the summer, securing left back Bolingoli-Mbombo from Rapid Vienna, joining Christopher Jullien and Luca Connell at Parkhead.
With concerns about Kieran Tierney’s future and Emilio Izaguirre gone, it was imperative that Celtic found a left back to initially cover for Tierney, but potentially take over.
Bolingoli-Mbombo ticks those boxes, and arrives after a couple of strong seasons in Austria, with the Belgian now taking the next step in his career.
The 24-year-old will be hoping to push for first-team football at Parkhead, and that would mean facing Rangers again on a number of occasions.
Rapid Vienna were in Rangers’ Europa League group last season, and Bolingoli-Mbombo played in both games; a 3-1 defeat at Ibrox, and a 1-0 win in the Austrian capital.

Bolingoli-Mbombo has now commented on those experiences, admitting it was ‘nice’ to play such a big game in Glasgow, but admitted it was a tough night.
The left back added that it was a great show of the high quality of Scottish football, and he’ll be hoping to build on that 1-0 win over Rangers in December with more victories in Old Firm derbies.
“It was a nice experience to play against Rangers over here, it was a big game, it was also a tough game. We lost here, but we beat them at home after,” said Bolingoli-Mbombo. “For me it was a nice experiences to see the level and qualities of Scotland, of Scottish football and it’s a high level for me,” he added.
