Celtic must challenge Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers for Tom Eaves.

If rumours are to be believed, Rangers might want to sign Tom Eaves – and Celtic should also consider the big striker.
Sky Sports reported on Monday afternoon that Rangers were tracking the 6’4 marksman.
Celtic could certainly do with a forward of those physical dimensions and Brendan Rodgers should also take an interest.
Moussa Dembele left Parkhead very late in the summer transfer window and Rodgers was not able to sign a replacement for obvious reasons.
But the Northern Irishman could do with extra competition for Leigh Griffiths and Odsonne Edouard, but neither of those are of a similar mould to Eaves.
The 26-year-old, whose 13 goals for Gillingham in the 2018-19 campaign has him winning the Golden Boot race in League One, has scored four times with his head so far this season, illustrating an aerial threat that Celtic don’t really have up front.
Rangers do, because Kyle Lafferty is the same height as him, but Eaves could be a very interesting plan-b option for the Hoops when they need a goal and plan-a isn’t working.
There’s been a few times like that this season and if the Gers are going for him, so should Rodgers.
