The forgotten Ivorian midfielder is included in Celtic’s latest squad.

Eboue Kouassi has been named in Celtic’s squad for Tuesday’s Champions League qualifier with Sarajevo.
The 21-year-old hasn’t kicked a ball for the Hoops since October after suffering a season-ending knee injury.
But it appears as if the Celtic midfielder might be fit again after Neil Lennon named him in the provisional squad for tomorrow’s trip to Bosnia & Herzegovina, according to The Scottish Sun.
Kouassi cost Celtic a sizeable £3 million in the winter of 2017 [The Scottish Sun] but the Ivorian midfielder has struggled in a big way to prove himself a good addition.
He had the faith of former Bhoys boss Brendan Rodgers, who once said that the former Krasnodar powerhouse would take over the mantle from Scott Brown in midfield.
He told The Scottish Sun in 2018: “Kouassi’s one who is brilliant in training. He does everything, and longer-term he will certainly fulfil that role when Scott moves on.”
But it remains to be seen if Lennon rates Kouassi, who has made just 22 appearances in two-and-a-half years in Glasgow.
The Northern Irishman certainly has better and fitter midfielders at his disposal now – including Brown himself – so it seems unlikely that he’ll play tomorrow.
