He had congratulated Manchester United pal Tahith Chong on starring in United’s win over PSG, and did so publicly via Instagram.
Weah infuriated PSG fans, with his parent club knocked out of the Champions League. The Scottish Sun reported his apology.
This might not be such a bad thing for Celtic.
Some fans have already been pointing out their belief that this could help them sign Weah to an extension or permanent deal.

That makes it essential that Celtic reach out to PSG right now when emotions are raw.
Celtic must make contact this weekend to try and secure Weah on an extended loan deal until the end of the 2019/20 season.
Weah has made a strong start at Celtic and this would be a big success for the club.
For PSG, it would be wise to keep Weah away from any backlash, and sending him to Celtic for an extra year could be a PR win with fans they need right now.
