The now-Liverpool star was once on the books at Celtic.

Celtic have already blooded one brilliant left-back in the form of Kieran Tierney, but it looks like they missed the chance to do the same with another in 2009.
Andrew Robertson is enjoying a brilliant first season with Liverpool following an £8 million move to Anfield from Hull City last summer.
He looks to be every inch the excellent left-back that Liverpool have longed for in recent seasons.
It has been a long journey to this level of prominence for the Scottish defender, who was released by Celtic as a 15-year-old, before joining Queen’s Park, Dundee United, Hull and ultimately the Reds.

And the Hoops’ chief executive Peter Lawwell might well wince over the knowledge that Robertson is now worth around £38.7 million, according to CIES Football Observatory – and it’ll get a lot higher.
At 24, Robertson is nowhere near the peak of his powers yet, but on the evidence of this season then it looks like the Merseyside outfit will have an outstanding left-back for the foreseeable future and his value will skyrocket.
You can’t direct much criticism at Celtic for letting him go, because a lot of clubs have unwittingly released players who went on to have very good careers, but it has to be considered a mistake and one which might haunt the Scottish champions if and when his valuation surges.
