Celtic should be in the race to sign Fulham defender Ryan Fredericks this summer.

Celtic tied up their first signing of the summer earlier this evening by snapping up Scott Bain, with the goalkeeper set to make his loan move permanent on a free transfer.
The Bhoys have pounced to capitalise on Bain’s Dundee contract expiring, and it’s another smart move from Brendan Rodgers’ men, who should be looking for similar deals this summer.
Another player available for free that should be on Rodgers’ radar is Fulham’s Ryan Fredericks, who has been sensational in Slavisa Jokanovic’s promotion-chasing side this season.
The former Tottenham right back, 25, has racked up seven assists in a superb campaign, with his blistering pace going forward and composed defensive displays earning him huge interest.

The Daily Mail recently reported that West Ham United watched Fredericks in action against Leeds United last month, with the Hammers seemingly keen to offer him a return to London.
However, with Cristian Gamboa out of favour, Jack Hendry far from a natural right back and Mikael Lustig seemingly slowing down, Fredericks makes perfect sense for Celtic – and with Champions League football, they should be able to blow West Ham out of the water.
Celtic raided Fulham in 2016 for one of their out of contract stars, as Moussa Dembele made the move to Celtic Park, albeit for a small compensation fee due to his age.
The Bhoys should be looking to repeat the trick by landing another Craven Cottage contract rebel, and with Fredericks’ deal set to end this summer, the flying full back could be an outstanding addition for nothing for Rodgers.
