Tottenham’s Victor Wanyama has been linked with a move away.

After a host of injury problems, it seems that Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Victor Wanyama will be on the market this month.
The Kenyan, 27, was a star under Mauricio Pochettino in the 2016-17 season, but has struggled to break into the Spurs side over the last 18 months.
Now, it seems that Wanyama will be available this month, and the Daily Mail report that West Bromwich Albion have made an ambitious move for him.
If West Brom are looking to land Wanyama, then his former club Celtic should certainly be considering an audacious deal this month.
Celtic signed Wanyama from Germinal Beerschot in 2011, providing him a platform to excel before making a 2013 switch to Southampton.
Wanyama has continued to follow Celtic since his departure, and told the Daily Record in 2017 that he would love a return to Parkhead one day.
Now is the time for Wanyama to head back to Glasgow, even if only on loan for the rest of the season, in order to recapture his best form and fitness ahead of the summer.

Celtic have money in the bank from Moussa Dembele’s exit, and even offering a potential permanent move in the summer would be smart.
Scott Brown’s performance against Rangers showed that Celtic need another combative midfielder, and Wanyama would be a blockbuster signing to fill that role.
With a top player like Wanyama on board, Celtic would be clear title favourites again – and even if it comes to nothing, the Bhoys must at least attempt to flex their muscle in the transfer market by trying to bring back a former fan favourite to fend off Rangers at the top of the table.
