Celtic can breathe easier if Leicester City pull off £40 million transfer.

The Telegraph has claimed that Leicester City are in pole position to sign Youri Tielemans – and Celtic should hope that it happens.
The Monaco-owned playmaker dazzled with the Foxes last season and a £40 million permanent deal seems to be in the offing, according to The Telegraph.
And if it happens, Celtic fans might breathe a little easier.
That is because Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers has been linked with a raid of his former side this summer.
Kieran Tierney, Callum McGregor and Tom Rogic have all been linked with a move to The King Power Stadium [The Express], but if the ex-Hoops boss spends £40 million on Tielemans then he’ll have a depleted war chest.
Such an outlay might make it difficult for Rodgers to pursue just one of the Celtic boys if the Belgian is signed for that money.
Then again, Rodgers also has a huge asset in the form of Harry Maguire, who could land City a huge windfall if he leaves this summer.
But for now, he is a Leicester player and even if they do offload Maguire, the addition of Tielemans would be a massive chunk of whatever money they receive for him.
