Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers have lost three times to Celtic already this season.
Celtic midfielder Stuart Armstrong has told the Daily Record that he believes Glasgow Rangers have a lot of high quality players.
Celtic have beaten Rangers three times this season, and they were victorious at Ibrox in their latest match.
The Bhoys came from behind to win against their Glasgow rivals, but Armstrong insists that he still respects the quality that Rangers have in their side.
“We knew Rangers had something to offer,” he said. “They are good-quality players but we knew what we could do as well.
“We needed to consolidate, especially in the middle, and limit their chances and get some control in the game.
“I think we just had to remain calm. Rangers did well in the opening 15-20 minutes, us not so well.
“It was important we didn’t panic and didn’t do anything too drastic. We just had to get a grip on the game.”
Celtic fell behind early on against Rangers, when Kenny Miller slid to prod the ball home from close range.
But the Bhoys grew into the game as it progressed, and goals from Moussa Dembele and Scott Sinclair provided them with the victory.
Celtic have won every Old-Firm derby to take place so far this season, and Rangers have been unable to keep pace.
Brendan Rodgers’ men are currently a remarkable 19 points ahead of Rangers in the Scottish Premiership table, and they have a game in hand over the Ibrox side.
