Celtic’s Kristoffer Ajer is very highly regarded by Brendan Rodgers.

Kilmarnock boss Lee McCulloch has told the Scottish Sun that he wants to sign Kristoffer Ajer on loan from Celtic again next season.
Ajer joined Killie last January transfer, and he has been handed a key role at Rugby Park.
Ajer has played 14 times for McCulloch’s side in the Scottish Premiership.
And McCulloch has admitted that he would like to have the youngster available to him again next term.

“The club would be delighted to have him back, but we’ll need to wait and see,” McCulloch said.
“Now that we’re safe, maybe, the club can speak to John [Kennedy] or I might give Brendan Rodgers and a call and see what he says.
“Ajer has been great for us. He has an old head on young shoulders.
“There are things he needs to work on, but he is very pleasing on the eye.”
Whether Celtic would sanction another loan mover Ajer remains to be seen, as Brendan Rodgers’ side have high hopes for the midfielder.

Ajer has been touted as a potential future star for the Scottish Premiership champions.
Competition for places at Celtic is tough though, and with Rodgers looking to strengthen next term, it is hard to see Ajer breaking into the Bhoys’ first-team.
When Ajer does return to Celtic he will be battling with the likes of Scott Brown, Tom Rogic and Stuart Armstrong for a first-team place.
