Celtic defender Jack Hendry has riled England fans, with the defender for Brendan Rodgers’ side celebrating their exit.

Celtic defender Jack Hendry has faced a backlash from England fans, after his tweet on their exit from the World Cup.
The Celtic man seemed to revel in England’s defeat to Croatia yesterday, with the youngster saying ‘where’s the coming home tweets @?’
The message was greeted with derision from England supporters, and the Celtic man eventually deleted it.
However, the criticism has kept on coming for Hendry, with the Celtic centre-back very much under-fire on social media.
Hendry did receive a few positive messages from Celtic and Scotland supporters, who were also enjoying England’s demise, but they were lost among the sea of criticism.
The Three Lions got further at this World Cup than they have for 28 years, with most England fans proud of their nation’s achievements.

Hendry, meanwhile, is in training with Celtic ahead of the new campaign.
The young defender will be hoping to play a part for Brendan Rodgers’ side, after making 11 appearances for them following his arrival in January.
