Celtic defender Kieran Tierney has been linked with a move to Manchester United in recent times.

Selling Kieran Tierney to Manchester United would be a double blow for Celtic (Daily Record), as it may also harm their chances of keeping Patrick Roberts.
Roberts and Tierney have formed a brilliant friendship during their time at Celtic together.
The pair are known to be very close, and if Tierney is no longer at Celtic, then it may be harder to persuade Roberts to join.

Of course, Roberts is unlikely to ultimately make his decision of whether to stay at Celtic or leave based on what Tierney does.
However, it could be another contributing factor in convincing Roberts to move elsewhere.

Celtic have had Roberts on loan for two and a half seasons now, and they are likely to attempt to make the transfer permanent in the summer.
Whether the Bhoys will have the funds to do so remains to be seen. But if they want to give themselves the best chance of keeping hold of Roberts, then they are likely to have to reject all offers for Tierney too.
