Celtic loanee Daniel Arzani posts emotional tweet confirming devastating injury blow

Celtic’s Manchester City loanee will require an operation.

Celtic loanee Daniel Arzani has confirmed he will require an operation on an ACL injury.

Arzani was injured in Celtic’s win over Dundee last week on his debut.

He has since been for scans and this evening confirmed he faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

In an emotional post on Twitter he confirmed the devastating blow and thanked Celtic supporters for their best wishes.

It is not just Celtic fans who have been anxiously awaiting news of Arzani’s health.

Australian football fans have been anxiously awaiting the news ever since the 19-year-old went down injured last week.

The talented midfielder was the youngest player at the 2018 World Cup with the Socceroos.

Manchester City signed him from Melbourne City in the summer before sending him out on loan to Celtic.
