Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic side have been linked with some very exciting targets so far this summer.
According to Sky Sports, Celtic want to sign Jamie Murphy this summer – but the arrival of the Brighton & Hove Albion winger may be slightly underwhelming.
Celtic have been linked with some hugely exciting transfers this summer, with Brendan Rodgers seemingly having his eyes on completing some impressive deals.

Rodgers’ side were then linked with Sardar Azmoun in the Scottish Sun, and latterly Adnan Januzaj in the Press and Journal.
Although none of those transfers have come to fruition to date, they set pulses racing around the Glasgow club.
So for Celtic fans to have to end up settling for Murphy may be a slight disappointment.
Murphy is a solid performer, and would increase the potency of the Bhoys’ attack.
However, he isn’t a signing which captures the imagination in the same way some of the other players Celtic have been linked with do.
And Murphy’s potential arrival at Celtic Park, therefore, may be slightly underwhelming – after what has come before him.
