Celtic are linked with the Everton midfielder, who did his Parkhead prospects no good on Saturday.

If Everton midfielder Tom Davies wants a move to Celtic, he isn’t going the right way about it.
According to The Daily Mail, Celtic are interested in the 20-year-old star from Everton’s academy.
But the player himself might have been hoping that Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers wasn’t watching on Saturday.
The Toffees scraped a 2-1 win over Lincoln City in the third round of the FA Cup, and Davies suffered the indignity of being taken off at half time.
There is no shame in being replaced by a player of Andre Gomes’s class, but there kind of is if that substitution comes at half time – and there definitely is if it comes against City, who play in the fourth tier of English football.
Marco Silva’s side are 57 places above City in the English football pyramid and it hardly bodes well for his Celtic prospects if he can’t dazzle against such minnows, does it?
Davies is clearly a far better player than he showed at Goodison yesterday, but each and everything he does on a football pitch matters in regards to his chances of earning a move away.
It has the potential to persuade or dissuade the Celtic manager over whether he’s the right fit – and going by Saturday’s display, the young Liverpudlian might be in the minus column if Rodgers tuned in.
