Celtic have been linked to centre-back Jeffrey Bruma.

Bruma is a player with big experience who could really improve Celtic’s defence, and follow in the footsteps of international teammate Virgil Van Dijk.
The transfer could benefit Bruma, who at 26, has a lot more to offer.
Bruma has spent much of his career overshadowing Van Dijk, until the Liverpool star’s tremendous 2018 which has seen him catapulted to superstardom and even feature in the Champions League Final.

Bruma is only one year older than Van Dijk, yet he made his international debut five years earlier.
It was in 2010 when he was first called up for the Netherlands national team, while Van Dijk only made his debut in 2015.
A report in Dutch website AD previously listed Bruma as PSV’s first choice signing in 2013, with Van Dijk only considered a third choice option.
The pair have played together as Holland’s first choice partnership in defence in recent years, but this partnership has recently been broken up by emerging Ajax talent Mattijs De Ligt.
The odd man out is Bruma, with Van Dijk and De Ligt the preferred option.
A move to Celtic could re-energise Bruma’s career, just like it set Van Dijk on the path to his current success.
