Celtic are keen on Kevin N’Doram from Metz as the Bhoys look to add another midfielder to Ange Postecoglou’s squad this summer.
Celtic won the Scottish Premiership title this season, wrestling back top spot from Rangers.
Yet having seen Rangers reach the Europa League final, Celtic need to start making progress in Europe again too.
Postecoglou will need new signings to make that happen and Celtic continue to be linked with a host of signings.
Some of the names linked seem a little strange, and that probably goes for the links to N’Doram too.
Celtic are keen on Kevin N’Doram
Homme du Match in France report that Celtic are interested in bringing N’Doram to Scotland.
It’s claimed that Celtic would have to pay up to €3million (£2.5million) for N’Doram with his contract still having two years to run.
N’Doram, 26, came up through the Monaco ranks before joining Metz on a permanent basis in 2020 following a strong loan spell.
N’Doram made 19 league appearances this past season but missed three chunks of the season through injury and then saw Metz suffer relegation from Ligue 1.
Deployed a variety of midfield role, N’Doram showed his versatility but is best utilised as a holding midfield player.

N’Doram may be able to replace Nir Bitton as a strong sitting midfielder after the Israeli’s exit this summer.
This does though seem to be a strange rumour given N’Doram’s injury problems over in France.
Those durability problems would surely be an issue in Postecoglou’s high-energy Celtic side.
Add in that Homme du Match is one of the less reliable sources in France – beneath the likes of L’Equipe or even Foot Mercato – and this isn’t one that sounds imminent for Celtic.
N’Doram may still be a name to keep an eye on, but after Celtic’s interest in Caen striker Alexandre Mendy was played down, this feels very similar.
