Celtic defender Josip Juranovic didn’t really know of Tom Rogic before moving to Parkhead, but has been blown away by the playmaker.
Juranovic joined Celtic from Legia Warsaw over the summer having impressed in Poland.
The Croatian international has made a positive start to life with Celtic and will be looking to play a key role under Ange Postecoglou.
Juranovic is still learning about the Scottish game, and even about his teammates.
Juranovic has now admitted to The Scottish Sun that he wasn’t really aware of Tom Rogic before joining Celtic.
Rogic may be an Australian international, but maybe isn’t a huge name outside of Scotland and his homeland.
Signed for just £400,000 in 2013, Rogic has become part of the furniture at Celtic.
The 28-year-old has been in great form of late, bagging three goals and two assists in 14 league outings.
Despite his size, Rogic is silky on the ball and has incredible technique in tight areas.
Many expected Rogic to thrive under his former Australia boss Postecoglou, and that has been the case so far.

Juranovic has now compared Rogic to Lionel Messi, claiming his technique is ‘unbelievable’ and that Rogic is ‘the main man’ at Celtic.
“For me Tom is little Messi!” said Juranovic. “He’s a bit taller than the original but there’s only one big Messi, he can be the little one! He’s so good. He’s one of the best players I have played with at club level. Tom’s in top form this season and that can only be good for us.”
“We see it in training, but I always make sure he’s in my team. He knows how to pick the sides. You look at his technique. He’s so tall but it’s unbelievable. Tom is the main man for us.”
“I didn’t know too much about him before I came here. I knew he’d been here a long time, but I was wondering why because he was so good. He enjoys it here and he’s a legend at Celtic,” he added.
