Rangers moved a whopping 23 points clear of Celtic after a victory at Ibrox last week.
The Gers settled the last Old Firm derby of the season by smashing Celtic 4-1 at Ibrox.
There can be no doubt that Glasgow, for now, is blue and the Hoops have a huge challenge on their hands in regards to wrestling the title back of Rangers next term.
Steven Gerrard led the light Blues to Premiership glory for the first time in a decade and with Celtic not even having a manager yet, Rangers may have a few years of success in Scotland.
But one Parkhead legend has claimed that Gerrard’s side aren’t even that good.
Lubo Moravcik has told the Celtic Huddle Podcast that although they’re a ‘good team’, the 55-year-old does not believe Gerrard’s troops are ‘so strong’.
He said: “I watched Rangers against Slavia Prague [who they] played twice. Rangers are not, for me, so strong a team, they are a good team, but I don’t think they are built by the stars or great players.”
Rangers being a top team is up for debate.
What isn’t debatable is the fact they have been lightyears ahead of Celtic this season and even worse, Gerrard’s troops haven’t even lost an Old Firm game during the 2020-21 campaign.
That right there illustrates the gulf in class between both teams and next season’s title race is already a fascinating watch.
