Celtic suffered a humiliating 7-1 loss to Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday night.

Celtic’s star-studded squad will want to look away now as French newspaper L’Equipe have hammered Brendan Rodgers’ players in their ratings from Wednesday night’s Champions League clash.
Unai Emery’s PSG recorded an emphatic 7-1 win at Parc des Princes in Group B of the elite competition, thanks to goals from Dani Alves, Marco Verratti and Kylian Mbappe as well as braces from Edinson Cavani and Neymar.
Despite playing a five-man defence, Celtic could not cope with PSG’s attacking prowess as they tore the Scottish champions to shreds – even more so than the 5-0 defeat on Parkhead back in September.

French newspaper L’Equipe published their player ratings from the match, which saw no Celtic player get above 3/10. Belgium international Dedryck Boyata will be the most embarrassed, as the 26-year-old was given 1/10.
The Scotsman journalist Alan Pettullo posted a picture of L’Equipe’s ratings on his Twitter account, which also saw five of the Hoops players do marginally better than Boyata with a score of 2/10.
Remaining in third in Group B, Celtic still have three points and are within touching distance of qualifying for European football after Christmas by entering the knockout stage of the Europa League.
All Rodgers’ side must do is avoid defeat by more than three goals when they face Anderlecht at Parkhead on December 5. However, focus will now turn to Sunday’s Betfred Cup final against Motherwell at Hampden Park.
