Musonda remains on loan at Celtic, but rumours have suggested his Parkhead stay could be cut short.

On-loan Celtic playmaker Charly Musonda has failed to live up to the hype north of the border since his loan move from Chelsea, and rumours are beginning to suggest that he could return to the Blues ahead of schedule.
Musonda, 21, joined the Hoops on an 18-month loan deal in January, which was set to keep the Belgium youth international at Celtic Park until the summer of 2019.

However, he has made eight appearances since joining the club and has constantly been overlooked by Brendan Rodgers, with the Northern Irishman preferring the likes of Tom Rogic, Patrick Roberts and Callum McGregor.
The Daily Record claimed earlier this month that Musonda may return to Stamford Bridge, and his Instagram story seems to suggest that he may have already done that as he posed for a selfie alongside Antonio Rudiger.

Musonda did show in glimpses that he had what it takes to star north of the border, with the highlight of his spell so far at Celtic being his assist for Callum McGregor’s winner against Zenit St. Petersburg.
However, it looks as though his loan may already be over at Celtic, as he returns to training. An interesting summer awaits Musonda and his future.
